Type: Internship • Role: UX Designer • Length: 4 weeks • Programs Used: Figma, WordPress
Project
Description
The goal of this project was to design and build an informative webpage for new customers of Loopie Laundry that explains what to expect from their first experience using the service.

To complete the webpage, I drew sketches, conducted competitor research, created low fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes, and then built the website using WordPress's Elementor.
Ideation
I began this project by consulting a brief written by my mentor with a summary of the content required for the page.

Low Fidelity Prototypes
Following this, I conducted a design critique with my mentor and reiterated on my designs, combining elements from the three sketches I had made.

Using this final sketch, I began making low fidelity mockups in Figma for desktop, mobile, and tablet. My mentor and I then had a few more meetings to tweak and improve my design.
High Fidelity Prototypes
Building the Site
After I finalized my high-fidelity mockup, I used Elementor in Wordpress to build the webpage. I used the responsive design mode to create the mobile and tablet versions, as well.
This stage was difficult as this was my second time using Wordpress, and there were a few design elements that weren't easy to build. However, I was able to recreate my original design to a pretty high level of accuracy. Below is a video I recorded of the final published site (desktop).
